Processor Idle Status

If a processor is waiting for transporter, is that waiting time included in idle time?

Also, is it possible to assign a different group of operators just for the repair function?

The processor will go into a waiting for transporter state and it will not be included in the processor idle time.

Yes, it is possible to assign a different group of operators for repair. If you need help in figuring out how to do this, it would be helpful if you sent us your model or a sample model of the model area you need help with.

Thank you Jeff. Attached is the model I am working on. I want to add a dispatcher for the entire system (5 cells) just for sending technicians to processors when they break down. I don't how to separate this type of manpower from regular operators who are running the machines. reliability-march2017-a.fsm
