The simulation not detect the MTBFMTTR data

Hello,

right now i try to run a simple simulation with the MTBF and MTTR data at the tank. Below is my simulation. Thtigger i use are same at all tank.

The problem is when i enter the MTBFMTTR data at tank f101 and c101, i didt get the breakdown time at the tank.1710492540433.png

This is the data that i get. The data run with 100% without a problem. I though when we enter the MTBFMTTR data at the tank, it need to have a breakdown time.1710492693030.png

What i want from the data is the critical equipment in the simulation, breakdown time of each equipment and availability of each equipment.

Thank you?

Hi @Aliff ,

For the down and resume function you will need to select the FloWorks options:

If you select this it should all work.

Thank you @Patrick Zweekhorst , I can get the equipment to stop when it down.

Right now, when the equipment down, it is showing the empty time instead of breakdown time. Is it same the breakdown time and empty time?

In my case I like to know the breakdown time of the equipment.

For my next question, how I can I find the whole system utilization in the flexsim?

Thank you.

Hi @Aliff ,

The state is indeed not set to breakdown. The reason for this is that it is not always the case that the object goes into complete breakdown. It can be for example that the impact factor is 0.5, which means that the max rate for the object is only half the max rate.

If you know that the impact factor is 0, and you prefer to see the state breakdown you will need to set the state breakdown yourself. In this case I would use the MTBF breakdown function to set a label:

And set the label back to 0 in the On Repair.

With this I would use the OnRateChange event to check this label and if the tank is in break down set the state to break down, see the attached example model.
RateChangeExample_3.fsm

How would you define the whole system utilization? There is no general definition for this, so it is hard to answer this question.
