We don't have Auto Cad at our facility so the engineers use Solid Works for our layouts. I had them convert a layout into a .dwg and tried to use that file as my model background but it didn't work. I can drag out a processor, for example, and replace the .3ds file with the .dwg file and the layout appears. Is there anyway I can use a .dwg file exported from Solid Works as my model background? Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, it works for me now if I set the model units to meters instead of feet.
