I recently got a beefy laptop with an awesome 4K screen, but that means I also bump the Scale of my texts and such to 250%. This absolutely wrecks the refresh speed of windows in FlexSim, specifically the properties window. It's gotten to the point that popup windows won't close, and I get GUI draw errors all the time because I'm clicking around too fast.
If I set the Scale to 100%, then the problems go away, but I can't see anything. I dropped the resolution down by half and set the Scale to 100% and now everything works great, but it's kind of sad that I can't use the 4K.
Any suggestions for how I can use my 4K and 250% Scaling still? Can I push any buttons in my Windows or FlexSim settings to speed things up?
The image below shows about a 1.5-2s delay in the refresh of the properties window.
