Parent Child Model

In the 3D building environment of FlexSim, how can you define a parent model and within that parent model, you can build up all the details? Example would be in parent level, I just want to have 3 processors, Body, Paint, GA, then under each processors in Child tier 1, I add line detail for Body, Pain, GA, then under line in Child tier 2, I add more details. I have seen this feature as a standard offer in tools like Simul8.

You can use containers for the 'submodels' with connections between for the high level flow. Internal connections would route the items to and from a single fixed resource which can be replaced later with more detail and more objects. Containers can be nested now, and the connections pass through successfully, so adding more container depth shouldn't be a problem.

Or could use a fixed resource in the 3D view and have an FRProcessFlow to represent the detail behind it.

@chao.gao, The Visual "Plane" and "Shape" are good objects to use as containers:
