How to increase simulation speed for FlexSim HC ?

I want to run a FlexSim HC model for a long time (say one week). Even though I set the run speed to max it still takes a lot of time to finish simulation run as compred to FlexSim 2016. Is there a way to increase the run speed (beyond the max limit given in run speed control).

So the "Max" setting on the slider is actually the max amount that your hardware can run. However, you can close out any windows you absolutely don't need (especially the 3D view if you can, since it eats up the most processing power) and that should increase the model's run time speed.

Open 3D Views, Dashboards, and Quick Properties are the windows that will slow down the run the most.
