Update Server (LAN) license to 16.2

Update Server (LAN) license to 16.2

The user upgraded from FlexSim 16.0.1 to FlexSim 16.2.0.

As far as I understand I need to upgrade license on the license server from 16.1 to 16.2

How can I do this.

You need the LAN License Tools file. Please go to your account at www.flexsim.com. A window pops up and you choose the gray field named DOWNLOADS, scroll a it a bit downwards where you find 4 tabs (Software, 3rd Party Modules, Flexsim Modules, Links). you find the tools in the links.

I described the way completely because the face of the section changed and it is new for me, too. I haven't put the link to LAN server tools here, because I don't know if it is public information and it is still only found in the password secured section of the account.

I couldn't place any picture though I'm using a tablet righ now.

This link will take you to an index that contains the latest LAN License Server related materials, including .pdf documentation from FlexSim and our 3rd party licensing vendor, Flexera. Those .pdf files are made available there for direct linking simply for convenience. Most are also included within the LANlicense.zip download, which includes all the files you'd need to set up your FlexSim LAN License Server.

You can find the instructions on how to upgrade a server license in your account on FlexSim.com in the licenses section. For your convenience I have linked it here:

Thank you for your answer.

I saw the instructions. On the page 5 it says

"In the FlexSim ServerActUtil program on the LAN License Server, go to Connect > Activate."

I don't have this program on my license server: FlexSim ServerActUtil

Where I can find an installer?

Please see step 1. Download the installation files, of the instructions.

EDIT: Above is where you would find it in the instructions for a new LAN License Server installation.

For your upgrade situation, at the start of step 1. Return the old server license you'll see the following:

Download the latest version of the LAN License Tools here: 
https://www.flexsim.com/ftp/LAN/LANlicense.zip

Followed by steps detailing how to run flexsimserveractutil.exe.
