Bug Report - Process Flows originally created in 16.1 and saved in 16.2 are deleted when opened in 16.1 again

I'm not sure if this is the best place to report this, but I didn't see a bug report section. We have had multiple encounters with a bug this week with saving a 16.1 file with a process flow in 16.2 (even without making any changes). If this file is then opened again in 16.1, the process flow exists, but is empty. Is this an issue that will be fixed in the future?

Your 16.1 model is updated when it is opened in 16.2 to be compatible with the changes we've made for the new version. For example, in this case we made a change to the Process Flow structure in 16.2 to allow for some new features. Once you save the model in 16.2 it now has the new structure that 16.1 doesn't know how to handle (thus blank).

Our model updates aren't backwards compatible and it's not intended for models saved in new models to work in older versions. Once you save your model in 16.2 you'll need to use 16.2 or later to open it.

Thanks for the quick response. I would like to suggest for future releases a notification window that alerts the user that they are saving their file in a new version, and it will no longer work in the previous version. I was using another computer and was unaware they had upgraded to 16.2.

Normally when a model is opened and updated in a newer version you see the following dialog:

There was a slight oversight in the 16.2 update scripts such that the dialog isn't showing up after the model update, but usually it does.

Regardless, when a newer model is opened in an older version you should see this dialog:
