Background CAD shading or wireframe

Is there a way to show shading or wireframe from 3d imported CAD backgrounds? When I import a background, there is no edge or side definition to my shapes. I supposed the long way would be to do this manually in CAD, but I'm looking for the quick and easy method...

FlexSim will only render whatever the data from the CAD file tells it to render. So if there is no wireframe outline or shading contained within the data of the CAD drawing, then no, unfortunately FlexSim will not add these elements onto the drawing. So you will have to add those features into the drawing yourself in the CAD file.
