How to read orders from a spreadsheet to simulate the behaviors of different order mixes in the manufacturing process.

I am currently creating 300 items by using uniform distributions to assign orders numbers and sizes to each item. I need to use the spreadsheet as input source

Attached is an illustration of what I am trying to do. Each item belongs to an order and each item has a different size for there are different quantities or product

Any insight is appreciated.

You could just have the source be a scheduled source (with the scheduled time being time 0). Then you could just copy the values to the scheduled table.

I've attached your model below:

Instead of copy/pasting your data from Excel to FlexSim, you could also set up an Excel import to import your data directly to the Source's schedule:

Thank you, that works!
