I am using network based shared Licence,kindly help me how to reserve the same some time.

In the directory of the flexsim deamon you write a flexsim.opt file. It is a standard text file with the extension "opt". The keyword word is reserve and you need a group or user attribute to define who has access to this reserved feature. For each different feature you have to add a reserve line in this file.
RESERVE 1 f1 USER mel
- 1 is the number of licenses to reserve
- f1 is a feature of Flexsim such as commercialuse, compile, consolescript, createobjects. You find the all features in your license. You can show them inside flexsimserveractutil tool.
- USER is a Keyword of the Windows User connected to the license server
- mel is the name of the Windows User

To activate the license option you need to reread license file. You can restatrt the license server, too.

Chapter 13 documents the Options file.
If you have followed our default license server installation instructions, you will already have an options file with the TIMEOUTALL keyword (see step 5. Copy the vendor daemon files. The options file can be seen here named flexsim.opt). You can leave that TIMEOUTALL keyword in place while adding any new options rules you desire.
