What are the differences between FloWorks and ASPEN PLUS, PRO/II, etc

I want to know the comparison between FloWorks module and ASPEN PLUS, PRO/II(Simulation Science), Design II(Chemshare) and HYSYS(Hyprotech).

In the market of simulation about chemical industry, what benefit does FloWorks module give to the prospect customers or end users?

I want to hear anything or from any one.

Hi David,

The software you are listing are for more for the process design itself (physics of the flow, heat exchanging etc.)

FloWorks is focused on the overall 'logistics' performance of a system. FloWorks will simulate and analyze a complete works, including intermediate storage and supply/transport of material. Typically it is used for reliability and supply chain performance analyses and optimization. FloWorks is also Discrete Event based; typically FloWorks would simulate weeks to years and evaluates the overall production and/or supply chain control.
