Bulk material movements through a network of mutiple conveyors?

Please excuse my ignorance but I am new to FlexSim and have only completed the introductory tutorials. I am trying to simulate movement of bulk material through a conveyor network. This requires setting a route end to end before a movement, the routes being composed of a number of conveyors to an end infrastructure device like a ship loader or stacker. The routes share conveyors in some locations. I previously using routing tables in Arena for this. Can someone give me guidance for my best bet at an approach in FlexSim before I investigate in detail? I am looking at around 20 routes using 30 conveyors. Please see the diagram below for further detail.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi Kim,

Unfortunately I cannot see your diagram in your post.

But have you had a look at the FloWorks add-on?

You can find the add-on in the 3rd party download section in your FlexSim account. The FloWorks conveyor would allow you to create the continuous movement in a much easier way. You only need to select and open the correct ports for a movement (use functions like: CloseFlowOp OpenFlowOp instance). Furthermore there are functions like 'SetFlowInputTriggerAmount' to trigger when a batch has passed. If you use it together with the process flow logic, you can create very powerfull and elaborate logic without actual programming.

Best regards,
