Uninstall FlexSim 7.5.4

Hello,

I download FlexSim v7.5.4 for trial and i want to uninstall now.

But i can not because there is a message for a missing file:

path "C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{7663DDB1-2788-4481-9861-C779473E47FB}v7.5.4\"

file "flexsim__7.5.4.x64"

Uninstall procedure stops, What i can do ?

Try downloading the flexsim__7.5.4._x64 file from here:

https://cloud.flexsim.com/index.php/s/LeW5vMvXukjLFag

And place it into:

C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{7663DDB1-2788-4481-9861-C779473E47FB}v7.5.4\

Then rerun the installer and attempt to uninstall.

Sorry for the uninstall troubles. It seems that your FlexSim installation has become corrupted somehow.

Do you by chance have system restore enabled, and a restore point created prior to your FlexSim troubles? Running a system restore may be a solution.

If this option is not available to you, we can continue to try other avenues to repair and remove your FlexSim installation.

Hello,

restore point is not possible because installation of flexsim 7.5.4 was made

approx. 2 years ago.

No result with update because installation of new version is in paralell with v7.5.4

Yes, if you install a newer FexSim update it will be installed in parallel with 7.5.4.

Like Matt proposed, I would suggest to run again the installer of the exact same release 7.5.4, that you can download on this link:

And then try to uninstall. But I guess you've already tried that.

Otherwise you could try a little software like Revo Uninstaller, I often use it when I want to perform a clean uninstall of a program. I'm using the free version of Revo Uninstaller, and I'm satisfied with it.

What is your Windows version?

Here is a list of some things to try:

  1. reboot your computer
  2. try again to uninstall
  3. if uninstall successful, you are done. If not, please continue...
  4. re-run the 7.5.4 installer by right clicking and select "Run as administrator"
  5. if the option to Repair is listed, repair your FlexSim installation
  6. if the option to Uninstall is listed, attempt another uninstall
  7. if the previous options were not available, choose to install
  8. reboot again after installation
  9. try again to uninstall

Hello,

My windows version: windows 7 Pro SP1.

No result with your procedure: no other choise than "uninstall"

and always the message for a missing file

I will try to update to the last version and uninstall after
