Separator processing more items

Hello guys,

I have a problem. In our simulation the source is giving a long round material.
This gets on a queue and it batches until the size X
From there it gets on the conveyor also with the whole size of X pieces material.

But now comes the problem. The separator which should shorten the material as a whole layer, just shortens one by one and extracts it.
How should I change the separator so that it takes the whole layer of X pieces and shorten the material with every layer cut and not only just piece cut?

@Marie Lisa If the products are treated as 1 product (which in this case they are) the easiest thing is to make it into 1 product. So put a combiner behind your queue and make the exiting product look like your X products. In this case I would use a pallet, make it very thin and invisible and just pack your products on the pallet. That way it looks like all the products are kept together going through your system. If the shorting of the material only takes something away you can also use a processor instead of a separator and just make the pallet and products smaller. Further down the line you can use the separator to split the pallet back into the actual products.
