FlexSim crashes when editing time table

I have a model with Hours as the time units.

I am trying to use a Time Table and the Date Based setting. When using these settings Flexsim seems to occasionally crash as I am entering data in the form. It doesn't seem to have a consistent cause. Editing the graphical form seems very prone to error too, but the Table based edit seems more robust.

Biggest issue for me is the unpredictable crash - is there anything I can do to work around this?

@Andy B I am able to reproduce this by using hours and editing using the graphical form. This looks like a bug. I'll add it to the dev list.

Hi @Andy B,

Without getting on your computer to see how FlexSim and your models are behaving, and what steps reproduce the crashes, it is hard to tell exactly what is going on.

My first suggestion is to try the things listed in the article FlexSim installation or startup error. These suggestions include getting the latest Windows updates, updating your graphics driver (I bolded those ones because they are the most important ones to try), deleting FlexSim's saved settings, rebooting your computer, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, etc.

These could help your computer be more stable in general for running FlexSim, and the Windows updates and graphics driver update especially have a chance of solving the problem. After trying those, you may find that the problem persists, in which case there must be some combination of steps or data that is causing a problem.

In that case please try to figure out how to reproduce the crashing and give us a step by step. Without steps to reproduce, we will not be able to debug the problem.

@Andy B,

Did any of this info help solve the problem? If the crash is only related to a particular model, can you share the model?
