What is the difference between a high versus a low priority wheelchair return?

Wheelchairs, portable XRays, portable EKGs, etc. should all be returned to their original position (base) following use. A return can be either according to a low or high priority. What exactly is the difference?

Low priority returns only happen if the staff involved in the move or transport activity has no queued requests at the time the activity finishes. A high priority return task is given a very high priority value allowing it to slip in front of any queued requests for the staff member.
