Can I batch by label value?

I have 7 different flowitem types, each representing a work order (varying quantities per work order represented with labels). At one point in the simulation flow, I need to temporarily combine these flow items such that the total quantity represented by the sum of the labels does not exceed a set value.

What are some ways to evaluate the flowitem quantity labels and create/release a batch once the set value is reached (or is so close another cannot be added)? Different item types are allowed to be batched together.

Up to 12 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 23.8 MiB each and 47.7 MiB total.

Can you send in your model or a sample model of what you are trying to accomplish? I'm not sure where you want to create/release a batch from or what kind of batch you have. Are you using Process Flow? Need more specifics and a model, if possible, to be able to answer your question.

Thanks.

@Jörg Vogel the example you linked is very similar to what I need, so I will experiment with lists in my own model. Thank you for the suggestion!

As I remember that is exactly a practice where you can use SQL. Please read the reference manual in Flexsim. Perhaps you have to update to Flexsim Version 17.

For example see here.

A Zone lets you restrict access to activities within the Zone using the total of a label value. You will need to make a subset, and a calculation, and then a subset constraint on that calculation, but it should work for you.
