String.split method in FlexSim 2018 is not backwards compatible

If there are multiple consecutive delimiters in a string, String.split in FlexSim 2018 considers them all as a single delimiter. That's not the case in FlexSim 2017:

This change creates quite a lot of compatibility issues. And they are hard to find immediately when migrating from 2017 to 2018.

Would you consider reverting to old behavior?

Up to 12 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 23.8 MiB each and 47.7 MiB total.

This is a bug. This change wasn't done on purpose. It appears to have been introduced in 17.1.

We have fixed this for 18.0.5.
