How are snap points used?

I understand that Flexsim can load 'snap points' from a DWG. I've found them in the model tree:

How are these used in practice? Is there a way to enable a drag and drop snap effect when moving around objects in the model? Or are they only accessible through code?

For a reference, here's the relevant content from the users manual:

FlexSim uses the term snap points to refer to vertices, lines, arcs and other elements in a AutoCAD drawing. However, it will only use the vertices when snapping it to the background. Typically only advanced FlexSim users need to load the drawing's snap points into their 3D models. You can load the CAD drawing's points into FlexSim's tree nodes to get more control over the way you get information from the drawing in the model. Some people use this functionality to auto-build their models or to get specific data from their models. You can also use snap points to position the objects in the model with more precision.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Snap points can be used for both for drag-snap usability and for auto building. To enable the drag-snap usability, you must turn on snap to background in quick properties for the model.

when you import CAD drawings you want to make sure Load Snap Points is toggled on. The CAD drawings position and rotation can be changed and the snap points will still work, but it will not work if you resize it, so any resizing will have to be done in your CAD software. As you drag the object to the snap point, it will snap as the cursor gets closer to the snap point. It works for objects and conveyors, but at the moment it will not snap AGV path points.
