Does anyone have a good shipping simulation to build upon and use to start with

I was looking to start a simulation of a shipping department. They get orders from there production department and have to load them on trucks in groups of 5 to 15.

Before I started from scratch, I was wondering if anyone had any models that I could use to start with.

Thanks,

If you try to use a model of someone else, you have to understand it first. That's taking the same time as building it by yourself. But you won't learn as much as doing it by yourself. Please come back if you need help how to do something.

Hi @Brian W

Here is a demo model using AGV paths and TaskExecuters as transporters. Hopefully this can give you some ideas. Let me know if you have any questions.

Each situation is so different, you would probably end up scrapping most of a model from someone else because it wouldn't apply to you. I would suggest the same as @Jörg Vogel, that is to do your model from scratch. If you run into any problems you can come back to this forum and send us your model so we can give you specific answer to your specific problems.

Thanks.
