My model takes more than 5 minutes to load

Hello, I have 21 custom 3D objects in my model. All in .stp format and between 1500kb and 7500kb each. These are all flowitems in the flowitem bin.

When I load the model it takes more then 5 minutes to load. But then it runs smoothly all the time. So it's not really an issue except when I first load the model. My computer has top specs.

This .stp format is all the customer could supply that worked well in 18.2.2. I know it will be different in version 19 as I'll be able to choose a faster format like .jt.

SO MY QUESTION IS: Is there something else I could do to avoid this very long model loading time (besides changing the file format or the file size)?

The stp importer is slow. If you want to reduce your load time, convert the files to fbx using Autodesk 3ds Max or Okino PolyTrans.
