How to conveyor the item to path2 if path is blocked

conveyor-system.fsmThnaks for your attantion, here are some questions I meet as below.

1. fisrt problem is I would like to set a photo eye on path1, if path is blocked, the item will go to path2, but the flowitem need to pass two task executor(rotation table made my kinematics). I don't know if the photo eye could achieve what I want under this situation or not.

2. second problem is how to avoid collising bwtween path2 and path3, because there will be a flowitem on path3 every 50 seconds, the item on path2 need to wait until the item pass on path3.

The photo eye could work, When it is blocked it could stop input to the conveyor, that's an option for triggers events, then open it when it is not being blocked anymore.

you can even use this option for your collision issue. Is the worry that items from path1 going to path3 causing collisions, or is there something else adding items to path3?

Hi, I might not have the same solutions as @Joshua S, but here is a sample model showing how you could restrict how many products you send to one line and redirect other products to another destination if the restricted line is full:
