Vertical conveyor - keep object orientation

Hello all,

Anyone can help with a model of a vertical conveyor system ? Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1uvFjKUZz0

I tried with a small conveyor but how can I keep the orientation of the forks the same all over the track ?

Thank you!vertical-conveyor.fsm

Hi @Marian C,

In the attached model you will find a possible solution to accomplish it. I basically used a list to move objects in the horizontal conveyor to the vertical one.

Hello Roi,

Is there a way for the forks and items to keep the same orientation when they get up on the top of the lift ?

Thank you.

Hi @Marian C,

You can simply accomplish this by using a pair of decision points and changing items rotation. Find it attached.vertical-conveyor.fsm

hi @Roi Sánchez,

Is that function 'rotating horizontal conveyor to vertical' by decision points are availble to Flexsim free version as well?

I am only using free version at the moment, but want to simulate the vertical converyor.

actual installation video I took is also available;
1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtBKrpK-cZ0 : approaching to vertical (at 1F)
2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch96h6byuxQ : landing out from vertical (at 2F)

Can you help?
if possible, here is my simulation draft file. 210310_[GST] set up vertical conveyor from 1F to 2F.fsm

@Pruthviraja M

You move the conveyor system to a plane by the Tool "Move into Highlighted" from "Edit Selected Objects"

Then you can rotate the plane.
