How can I set my source that it will create an item every 15 seconds?

Hi all,

I want to built the following model with this kind of settings: Soure-> Processor 1-> Processor 2 -> Sink. The duration of one shift is 480 min - 45 min (break) = 435 min (21600 seconds).

The source should create every 15 seconds a product. I know that I can use the scheduled sequence in the source to generate this but I do not know how to make it. The Processor 1 has a process time of 70 seconds, the processor 2 a process time of 60 seconds. My factory has to produce 320 items within one shift. How can I reach this?

Thank you very much!

@Nicole S2

Is it possible for you to send us your model or a sample model of what needs to happen? It's hard to give you a specific answer to your question when we don't know what your model is doing.

Thanks.

Creating an item every 15 seconds can be done with just an Inter-Arrivaltime.

Set the Inter-Arrivaltime to 15 instead of a distribution.
