Source Arrival Sequence | Label & Color Creation

test.fsmHello!

I am looking to use the arrival sequence function. I have 513 arrivals with a total quantity of 1421. I have 939 Office supplies, 363 sporting goods and 119 toys. Summing up to 1421. Under triggers I have set on creation set label and color. Is it possible to set the label and color that corresponds to my arrival sequence table?

Hi @Will L,

I'm assuming you'd like to set the color based on whether it's a office supply, sporting good, etc. I created triggers that assign a "Type" label, which is just the value of the "Category" column in your table for that particular item. Then, using that label, I match it two a Values by Case function that sets the color.

Hopefully this is what you're looking for or at least gets you started with an idea. Let us know if you're looking for something else and we'll do our best to help.

Thank you for the help. That does answer my first question. However, after it passes over the conveyor and operator 2 carries it to combiner 1-3 I was sorting each color by expression. I see that no longer works. Is there a way to then sort by the type you assigned above. I played around with it but couldn't figure it out.

That's my bad. I think my "Type" label overwrote whatever you had going. I'll change that to "Category" and then assign "Type" to be a number associated with the category of the good. Let me know if this works for you. Thanks!
