Yes, it can, if your controlled system has been set to open a *.fsm file with a FlexSim version and the program is installed. The file version must be of the same installed FlexSim version or older. But the file version shouldn’t be ancient in terms of FlexSim. FlexSim version files 2.6, 3.5 or even 5.2 are counted to be ancient to current versions. You can try this, but there isn’t a guarantee that it works.
@Sameer P, in addition, if you are trying to use a standalone-licensed installation of FlexSim over RDP, that feature must be enabled in your license. Contact your local FlexSim representative if you find that isn't the case.
