Operator not picking up part at Queue

Hi,

as I am new in FlexSim, I followed tutorials, using the free version.

Now I try to setup a simple model to have an operator carry items from queue to processor to the next queue.

I guess this is quite simple, I compare it to an existing example in the tutorial, however I am stuck.

I upload this model to allow somebody to have a look.samplemodel008.fsm

Kind regards

@neymarco

Hi Marco,

For such a simple sequence of tasks, you could also build a similar model without Process Flow:

2109-05-13-use-transport-with-operator.fsm

Regarding your model, a Resource is missing in your logic. When using an Acquire activity, you should not acquire directly the operator but the Resource asset. And you can link this Resource asset to your operator.

Here is the modified model:

I have tried the model #2 you attached, but the parts accumulate at Queue21, the operator does not move there.

As you talk about Resource Asset, I don't see any in the model you attached. I have updated my model to have 3 versions: 1- no operator; 2- operator involved direcly linked (no code); 3- operator involved using the ProcessFlow

Remind that I am in learning phase. I have go??ne through tutorials, now I have to experiment.

I have been working in another Simulation software for 2 years. Our management saw the FlexSim, so I have to evaluate it.

Kind Regards

Marco

I am sorry, I was in the train and went too fast when uploading the model. I updated the attachment in my previous post, you should now see the right version.
