In developing a model in V 19.1.1, I put in A Star Navigation before I was ready to work with Navigation. How do I remove A Star Navigation and the complete the logic of the model?

I think I found the answer. For some reason, I could select the object but my delete key would not delete it. Just after I submitted this question, I selected the A*Navigation and when I pressed the Del key the object disappeared.
Sometimes you can't delete an item if you are in a model run. Also, if the selected item has a red box around it instead of yellow, it is not selected to delete. You can get rid of the red box by holding shift and clicking somewhere on the grid in your model. You can only delete items when they have a yellow box around them.
