Flicker occurred when using VR

Hi,I build up a model which import my own 3D Object, and also upgrade graphic card to improve performance.

But still have serious flicker when using HTC VIVE.

Could you help me to know how to solve this problem?

My graphic card is GEFORCE RTX 2080.

@yi ting C, we have a couple of options. You could send it to my email which is [email protected] or you could ask new question and make it a private question. Only FlexSim employees can see private questions.

If by "flicker" you actually mean "judder" (laggy motion as you move your head), then the issue is that your framerate dropped below the required 90 FPS for the HTC Vive.

You must maintain a frame rate of 90 FPS in VR on the HTC Vive. You can show the framerate in FlexSim's 3D view by enabling File > Global Preferences > Show FPS Counter.

If the framerate of your model is less than 90 FPS, then you need to optimize your model to render faster to use the HTC Vive.

The Oculus Rift uses asynchronous spacewarp to compensate for judder when below 90 FPS, but the HTC Vive does not, so you must maintain 90 FPS for the HTC Vive.

You can improve your framerate in FlexSim by optimizing your 3D shapes by merging meshes with the same material together before importing the shape into FlexSim.
