conveyor with rack 19.2

I am working with a small model that uses conveyor to conveyor materials that is to be placed in Rack. I have setup the rack to use "matching labels" for slot assignment and that it is used as a "fixed resource" with "pull strategy" enabled.

In the configuration I noted that the materials are unable to be stored into the Rack when it is traversing on the L shaped conveyor. Though it works fine with the materials conveying on the single straight conveyor.

Is this a bug?

Attached is the model (

I understand the warehouse module a bit different. There are two modes. The warehouse mode use slot assignment. The fixed resource mode is independent from the slot assignment. You cannot combine them. The fixed resource mode uses place in bay, place in Level, minimum dwell time.

thank you for your reply.

In creating a new model in v19.2, I no longer see the place in bay and place in level selection in the Rack object. Or did I miss some settings here?

Also, I noted that when I upgrade a old model with rack into v19.2 the slot assignment strategy showed "use legacy place in bay/Level". So, I believe it is alright to use slot assignment.

From the Manual: Overview and Key Concepts

The Storage Object is a Fixed Resource. However, fixed resource functionality is turned off by default. You can enable it through the Flow Tab, or merely by connecting other fixed resources to it using an 'A' connection. When fixed resource logic is enabled, the storage object receives flow items through its input ports until its maximum content value is met. When each flow item enters the rack, it executes the minimum dwell time function for that item. This function returns the minimum stay time for that flow item. The rack starts a timer for that amount of time. After the timer expires, the rack releases the flow item.

Yes. I have checked "used as fixed resource" as well as use the "Pull strategy".

Do you still have this issue in 19.2.3? There were lots of Rack fixes in the bug fix releases.
