How to I import sketchup into flexsim?

I have a sketchup model of my plant. How to I import it into flexsim so that I can use it as a guide on spacing stations? It is a pretty big file, about 150 mb. Will I be able to import it into flexsim and then build the flexsim stations around it?

Hi @Christopher W,

I wouldn't recommend using such a large file in FlexSim. Models over about 10MB tend to run really slow, especially at high model speeds. I'm not an expert in SketchUp, but if there's any way you can reduce the file size by decreasing the number of polygons or vertices in the file, that would be a great place to start. If you only need the layout for spacing out your model, I would use a smaller dxf sketch or something similar and import it as the model background.
