patient arrival error

The ED runs 24 hours a day except for the one area that is on a 10a-10p shift. 35% of the incoming patients go to that area once it opens. That's when I get the error. I did a by case specific with Cliff on another model, but because this one start and only runs 12 hrs I get the error: Flexsim 2020 Exception caught in evaluation of /Tools/ProcessFlow/Arrivals/Create Patient>stats/instances/Arrivals/onPersonCreated

Can you attach your model? Otherwise there's not a lot we can do to help you.

I have looked into your model and it seems that an exception similar to what you have mentioned is tAnnotation 2020-05-12 102912.jpghrown at time 14.54 min due to a oversight of not having "LabelSet2" created in the Person Label. Is this the issue you encounter?

I did fix the patient class as per your suggestion. And I ran the model full out. What is happening is that the two patients stay at Triage until 10:00am. Then it appears the model works. But what I want to have happen is the one side (picture attached) take patients as they start coming in and none go to the other flow until 10:00am.

@Mike H5 Your decide activity was just randomly sending patients to either activity set. I added another decide activity that only sends patients to the left side if it's before 10 AM or after 10 PM.

Matthew thanks for the assistance. Everything worked well until 10:00am then everyone (patients) stopped. 9 patients are in the waiting room. Don't know why they are stopped, trying to figure it out.

@Mike H5 It's backing up because every patient acquires an ExamLeanBed, but then never releases it. So when the ExamLeanBeds run out no more patients can progress through the flow. Why are you acquiring both an ExamLeanBeds and an ExamGenBed for every patient?

So the process we put in ED's is an accelerated throughput model. The ExamLeanBed patients (the 35%) go only to those beds. They are basically the for beds on the left near the red Tech. The other beds are normal ED beds and take the sicker patients. This is not a fast track model. But the 65/35 split has to have patients going to their separate areas. Should I move the acquire ExamLeanBeds down to another container?
