operator not to conveyor load item

hello

i do combiner form conveyor load item,

but operator can not travel to load.

Hi @steven.chen

I have added a decision point to send items to the first exit transfer and also included the new exit transfer type.

For Exit transfer 2, used the option "Stop Item at transfer end".

For Exit transfer 1, used the option "Ignore picks if predicting the late pickup"

Attached the model here for your reference. Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

Hi thank you very much

I found that the other problem model runs for 816 seconds, the operator will not load any items, so the model will not run.

Hello @Steven Chen

So the combiner on the bottom right will load 3 red boxes and 1 green box. You can see that in the Exit Transfer Area on the conveyer there are only green boxes and the combiner needs two more red boxes in order to finish. The combiner and worker are basically blocked. So the model does not have errors but it needs more logic to not become blocked.

This is true Jeanette, but you can also see that the operator servicing Combiner1 has access to both types and needs one of each, but is not taking them.

Hello @steven.chen,

Jason brought up another problem I didn't initially see. This is caused by some of the logic in the Exit Transfer Type. When I unselect "Ignore Picks if Predicting Late Pickup" the simulation runs continuously. From what I understand this has something to do with how it calculates whether or not an item is in the region of the exit transfer and how fast the item is going. I don't believe this should be a problem in the simulation. I am looking into it more.
