License server can't activate licenses after restore

We recently had an issue with our company servers which prompted them all to be reloaded from backup images. I am now trying to reconnect FlexSim to see the license server instead of the temporary local license I had on my machine. (I have returned that local license). When I open FlexNet License Administrator I see the following:

From another help question this lead me to believe my licenses are no longer active on this server. So I tried to activate them in FlexSim ServerActUtil but get an activation is denied because it exceeds the available seat count so I tried to use the return license but it doesn't see any licenses on this server.

I'm wondering if this is related to the servers being reimaged but more importantly I wanted to know how to fix it?

Hi @A Kamphaus,

You can email me directly. Please send over the text from flexsimserveractutil.exe from Tools>View License Rights.

Most likely, due to restoring from backup, your licenses are in a BROKEN state. We'll know for certain if that is the case when we look at your View Licenses text.

If so, there is an option in flexsimserveractutil.exe under Connect > Repair where you can enter the Fulfillment ID (which is shown under the View Licenses text, starts with "FID_") to attempt a repair.

I'll watch for a new comment here or for a direct email.
