Is there a way to merge time series charts from multiple replications so that the performance metric for all replications are shown on the same time axis? I would like to avoid exporting the raw data to excel and transforming it there if possible.

Have you looked at the Scenario Chart? If you run an experiment with the "save statistics data" box checked, you can then make a Scenario Chart. This kind of chart is found in the General section of the Dashboard Library. You can then point the Scenario Chart at your time plot, and you should get what you're looking for.
See the documentation on Scenario Charts:

There's information in there about how data from replications is combined together for a single chart, depending on the original chart's type.
