requires upgraded license

@Ben Wilson I have read your post here The problem is we have a license server running in our office and there are multiple license on there. I use an opt file to seperate the different users and that seems to work nicely. Problem is that my collegue gets a popup to update his license :

But the license that he checks out ( looked at it with LMAdmin ) is the correct license that is the right version. Does this remark also comes up if there are older versions on the server?

That message appears if it successfully checks out a feature but that feature’s version number is lower than requested. For example, it may have requested a “modeltree” feature and gotten an older version of that feature from a different license type.

The licensing system checks out each feature independently. A product, such as “Enterprise” or “Runtime”, is just a set of features. As far as the licensing system is concerned, a “license” isn’t one license. It is a set of features that can each be checked out individually. FlexSim tries to check out all the licensing features and is a certain license “type” depending on what features it was successful at checking out. If you have multiple license products on the license server, you could be checking out some features from one and some from another.

If you only want to checkout certain license features, then you need to check that box on the License Server tab and then select which set of features you want to check out. Otherwise, it will try to check out all license features.
