Experimenter crashes FlexSim in 20.0 and 20.1

We have a model built in 20.0 and want to run it with the experimenter on a different machine with an AMD processer. The moment you press Run Experiment FlexSim crashes and closes. We have tried with a very simple source, queue, server sink model and the same behavior. We tried with version 20.1, the same problem. If we try it with 21.0 or 21.1 it just works.

Any suggestions?

I had an issue with the experimenter crashing in 2020 where a different bug had corrupted my C:\ProgramData\Flexsim\ports.txt file such that FlexSim couldn't open the file anymore.

I worked around the issue by deleting that file and letting the experimenter recreate it.

Try deleting that file to see whether that resolves the issue.
