what is the meaning of profile?

2.fsmExcuse me, why we need to define the "Profile" Label , From the model , i find the value of Profile hasn't been updated, so what is the purpose of profile?

It is an own customized state profile. If you aren’t satisfied by given names of each default state number you can alter the names in an own state profile.

Thanks, could you help me to explain more detailly following the questions i have listed. Because i still feel confused.

An object can have more than one state profile attached to it. The Multiprocessor for example, has a second state profile by default, as you also show in your screenshot. The profiles are independent from one another, so while the default profile (0) might be in state 3 for instance, the other profile (1) could be in state 5.

As you can see in your screenshots, the default profile is located under the "state_current" node in the objects tree and it's index when defining which profile to use/read is 0. Other profiles are stored under a separate node called "state_profiles". Their index corresponds to their rank as subnodes under that node.

The state gantt state allow the user to choose which profile should displayed when an object with more than one is selected. That is what the label is for. And while you are correct, that technically it is not needed when the object only possesses the default profile (if no index is given in the function, it is filled in as 0), it is part of the chart template and added to the collector regardless of whether it is necessary or not.
