Travel Off Set Empty Definition

Hello everyone, I would like to know a definition of the state being in "Travel Off Set Empty". I don't really understand when an object is in that state and the definition in the tutorial is very vague. Can someone help me?

Thanks!

There are cases where an operator or vehicle leaves his network path system and he goes to pick or place items to a location in an object (queue , rack). This means, an item is not teleported into a rack cell or to the end of a stack. This additional movement is called offset travel. A standard AGV path system let a vehicle unload an item to an object at control point nodes. Such an item teleports into an object. There does not occur offset travel.

There is an option in taskexecuters (operater, vehicle), where you can activate/ deactivate offset travel. By deactivated state a taskexecuter will teleport items to a destination object directly.

Also if you tell it to travel to a coordinate location it uses offset travel and the state will reflect that and whether it is carrying something.
