Creating multiple flow items from source (T-3.fsm)

Hi,

I have created a model for material storage and retrieval using AS/RS.

For storage (Source1-->Conveyor1-->Queue1-->ASRS Vehicle1-->Racks1 and Racks2)

and reverse for retrieval

Model uploaded to FlexSim's file share site name (T-3.fsm)

---

Need help with creating multiple flow items (Multiple boxes from the same source)

Ex: Green boxes, Yellow boxes, Brown boxes

Green boxes - 10% of the flow

Yello boxes - 25% of the flow

Brown boxes - 65% of the flow

---

Thank you

In the "On Creation" trigger of the source, first assign a label that will determine the color of the object using the "Set Label by Percentage" option (found under "Data"). Below that, add the "Set Color By Case" option (found under "Visual") and assign the colors to the respective label values.

Hi, @Felix Möhlmann

Thank you very much. It worked like a charm.

One more support is required.

Kindly can you tell on how to have these materials getting stored in a specific position in a rack?

Ex: Brown boxes 65% flow (getting stored in lower 6 levels)

Yellow boxes 25% flow (getting stored in levels 7,8 and 9)

Green boxes 10% flow (getting stored in levels 10)

(The rack setup is 15 bays, 10 levels, 1 slots per bay)

...

I have accepted your previous answer. Please let me know if I should open a separate question for this.

...

Thank you

You can use Slot Labels to assign items only to slots where the slot and item labels match.

Yes, it would be good if you could post this as a separate question. I will provide a more detailed answer there.
