Needs help Creating a Multi-Echelon Supply Chain Model With FlexSim

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently conducting a research on supply chain risk analysis, and would like to create a three-echelon supply chain model, with two of the echelons having three nodes each.

Now, this model would consist of Suppliers (3), one manufacturer, and Distributors(3), with Inventory symbols in between each level of the echelon. I'm new to FlexSim, and 've read through the tutorial but could not figure out how to go about a concept like this.

The idea is for the manufacturer is to manage inventories of three different types of products based on the sales and purchase data from the distributor. Also, the manufacturer would only place order to the supplier based on information data( sales and purchase data) from the distributor. The cost implication of each inventories would also be factored in in this model. I would appreciate the assistance of members in this group regarding this. I would increase the complexity of the model to to other aspects of the model I would want to implement based on the help I would get in here. Thanks all.

I have attached the diagram of the concept I'm writing about.

Hi @Oluwagbenga_victor O,

This is an example model that shows off a simple way of doing a material handling model. I have made annotations within the model that explains the logic driving the model. To access the model you will need to delete the .pdf from the end of the file.

Thank you very much, Jacob w2. I can't access the attached document even after deleting the .pdf from the end of the file, as suggested. Please, advise.
