Dashboard configuration

Hello,

The FlexSim dashboards work with an automatic graph scale, the X and Y axes adjust to the plotted values (X axis by time and Y axis by collected data). The problem is: this limits the customization of dashboards, so I would like to know if there is a way to fix the X and Y axes on a graph, because the time interval and the maximum value of the data are already known.

For example: I would like to collect only one year, therefore the X axis would already be fixed in one year and the maximum value of Y axis would be 10000. Then I would like to put the Y axis only on the interval of 0-10000. Is there a way to define the axes limit?

Another question is if there is a way to define the initial and final periods of a dashboard? For example: A dashboard with data from only the first year (Start: 0; End: 365), another dashboard with data from second year (Start: 365; End: 730) and so on.

The basic answer to your questions are as follows:

You can specify exact bounds for the Y axis but not for the X axis. For this, you can use the Y Axis Range setting in the properties panel: https://docs.flexsim.com/en/23.1/Reference/PropertiesPanels/DashboardPanels/Settings/Settings.html#time
As far as showing a specific year of data, there's not a straightforward way to do that. The closest option is the Time Window option, which would cause the X axis to scroll to show only the most recent year (or other time period).

To line sets of data up on the same X axis, I would probably create a custom Statistics Collector. For a Time Plot, the collector should have at least three columns: the x value, the y value, and (in your case) a year value. Then you can "split" the data into different areas of the chart.
