FlexSim crashes after double double click

Hi, if I double double click (at least 4 clicks) fast in a 3D window the 3D Library Menu stays opened and FlexSim crashes. 1685441765189.png

It seems reproduceable on all machines I´ve tested so far.

For me, FlexSim freezes after doing this.

Ahhh thanks for pinpointing this! This has happened to me several times and I couldn't figure out why it was happening. Apparently I need to stop my aggressive clicking as well.

I was able to reproduce this. FlexSim seems to enter a state where it responds only to clicks in the popup library and continues to add objects when clicked - so not fully crashed, but can no longer accept any other commands (to quit even).

I recommend less coffee. Will send in a dev report.

@Jordan Johnson could you please set the priority of this bug to critical ?


I have already submitted a similar bug report more than one year ago in February 2022. I have seen this window getting freezed in trainings many (many many) times, and it became even worse in the last version 23.1.

In previous versions, we were able to close the freezed quick library window with Alt+F4.

In 23.1, Alt+F4 is not helpful.

I suggest to add a close cross button at the top of the quick library window to definitely get rid of this bug.
