How to switch between two-way and one-way AGV passes depending on conditions

In a two-way path like the one shown below, when the AGV is in possession of an item, I would like to turn the two-way path into a one-way path.

I don't think this is possible. What you could try instead is to place two paths going in opposite directions and adding a rule to one of them that only allows empty task executers to use it.
