I'm wondering if the Flexsim program offers a feature where, when assigning a transfer request to a transfer agent, the medical team at the transfer departure location receives advance notice about the patient transfer preparation, allowing them to complete the preparation before the transfer agent arrives at the desired time for the transfer.
Hey @Amy, that is a possibility in FlexSim. One way to accomplish this is using Process Flow. You can have an activity that listens for a certain action to occur to spawn a token. That token can then run through a set of logical steps controlling the preparation team so it can happen asynchronously.
I am not sure how to use the process flow in FlexSim HC.
Can you give me an example?

Here's an example that may demonstrate what I mean.
It includes a process flow where I added a "Split" activity when a patient gets in line. While they're in line to check-in, another token gets created to alert the Tech to prep the Linac machine.
