Error messages when opening dashboard

Hi,

I'm receiving a series of system console error messages when I try to open the dashboard after running a simulation. flexsim-error-on-dashboard-opening.txt

The model itself runs without error, only when I have the dashboard open do I get anything popping up. If I open it and then run the model, I get a series of errors in this format: flexsim-error-when-running-with-dashboard.txt

I'll get hundreds of these - I just attached the first few. I don't get a sense these are affecting my results, it's just messy and makes doing live presentations difficult. Along with this, sometimes the dashboard results will be blank after running a simulation, and I have to open the properties of each dashboard item, change something trivial, and then the results will show up. Any way I can get this to behave better?

Have you tried saving, closing the application, restarting/reloading?

Yes, I've tried restarting Flexsim, reinstalling both 32 and 64 bit versions, etc. with no luck. It also happens on every model I make.

I found the issue and it's bad code on our end. Basically the Wait Times widget creates a list of areas and groups in the model so that in the options you can check/uncheck the areas or groups you want to report. However, this list is generated when you open the properties window of the chart (by double clicking on it). If you then make changes to the objects in your model (like change one of their names or add a new object) it then throws errors if it can't find that object in its generated list. This code should really also happen when you reset the model, not just when you open the properties.

I'll fix this on our end for the next release, but for now just make sure you open the properties window of any wait time charts after you make changes to your model (or when you see this error).
