You need to update your flowchart. The PatientArrivals area is only connected to the Angiogram area, but you're trying to get patients to walk to the BedArea and ReceptionArea. The PatientArrivals area should be connected to both of these areas, and possible others.
Aaaah! Rookie mistake!
I fixed the flowchart, so they're coming in the door now, but I'm still struggling with getting them on the right track. The patients coming in PatientArrivals2 to be on Track2, and PatientArrivals1 to be on Track1, but I can't figure out how to specify.
Thanks!
Karen
The way you do this is with PCIs. Each PCI is assigned a Track in the PCI table. Then the Arrivals objects assign a PCI to each created patient based off the value specified for that arrival. So assign Track1 to all PCIs created by door 1 and Track2 to all PCIs created by door 2.
Matt- I appreciate your help with this model. I've had a very short turn-around time on it, and I've rushed through it. Thanks for catching my careless mistakes!
I have one more issue that I can't figure out. When patients come in Arrival Area 2, go to the receptionist and then the HUC, HUC1 stands in a funny place when she's interacting with the patient (around 7:27am on day 1). I tried creating new nodes closer to the desks, but I can't delete the old connections to the old nodes. Can you help?
Thanks!
Karen
In Track2 activity 30 change the Predecessor from 20 to 21. Activity 21 and 30 are starting at the same time so the HUC walks to where the patient is standing before he walks over to the registration desk.
