Run model in background without opening the flexsim

Hello,

Is it possible to run a flexsim Model in background with out opening the flexsim.

Lets say We have excel file where we will input data then we click a button in excel which will pass the this input data and flexsim model as parameters to command line. Then model will be run in the background and the results will be exported.

I can certainly use a GUI on top of flexsim and display the results after the run is completed. But i just want to know whether the above scenario is possible.

Hi,

What you want is possible. The easiest way is using the 

/maintenance nogui

switch. For a more extensive answer, you may want to look at this previous question on Answers.
