How to configure a "franken-rack" with the new storage object

Have a look at the picture below. As you can see from the CAD background the rack I am trying to create has a "tunnel" through it. The pink lines show where the tunnel is in the rack. Furthermore, beyond the tunnel, there is half a rack space, followed by three full ones and ending with a single. I have tried a number of things using the "Dimensions" tab but the closest I can come is to break this up into multiple racks. Any ideas? Is this even possible using a single rack? It seemed to me that in the previous rack, you could create a true "franken-rack" as I'm describing.

There's no configuration in the old rack dimensions tab that you can't do with the new rack dimensions tab.

You can make your described "franken-rack" quite easily with the current Dimensions tab:

The fields at the bottom modify the selected slots. Click and drag in the image to select slots, like a table view.

What do you think you can't do?

Believe me, I don't post a question unless I've spent a fair bit of time trying to figure something out on my own. I spent a lot of time on the Dimensions tab. I would select a bunch of slots, update the "Slots Per Bay" and "Slot" width, hit Apply and it wouldn't "take". Nothing would change. I would also X out some slots, deselect "Storable Slots" and then select the same ones, select "Storable Slots", apply "Apply" and the x's would remain. So bottom line is that I wasn't able to do this easily.

Ok, I don't get it. I closed my session, opened a new one and now it works. Sheesh!

Sorry for the intrusion!
